One Year Anniversary Wedding at Lake Arrowhead Resort

Waiting another year wasn’t a big deal for this couple… They've been together for 10 years! These two love to have fun, which was apparent throughout all of their wedding festivities.

When we met Jacqulyn and Tyler, we knew we were in for a good time. They reached out to us to video their second wedding. In 2020, Jacqulyn and Tyler had an intimate and private ceremony because their full wedding was postponed due to COVID. Luckily, waiting another year wasn’t a big deal for this couple… They've been together for 10 years! These two love to have fun, which was apparent throughout all of their wedding festivities.

Because they had postponed their wedding for over a year, there was so much to look forward to. When we asked Jacqulyn what she was most excited about, she said doing a first look with her dad, and “Tyler's reaction when he sees me for the first time coming down the aisle. Oh, and the reception!” Their wedding ceremony and reception were hosted at Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa. Lake Arrowhead Resort offers several outdoor venues, catering options, and vendors to help make your special day as memorable and unforgettable as possible. Plus, you can get married with a beautiful lakeside view!

Jacqulyn and Tyler got married on the breathtaking patio overlooking the lake. As Jacqulyn walked down the aisle, arm in arm with her dad, her cathedral veil and train of her Lena by Enzoani wedding dress from Archive Bridal trailed behind her beautifully. Once at the altar, she met her soon to be husband, wearing a navy 3-piece suit from Men's Warehouse.

For their grand entrance, the bride and groom entered as husband and wife and sealed their marriage by shotgunning a Whiteclaw. Yep, you read that right! After a delicious dinner, guests made speeches to the newlyweds out on the patio. Everyone danced the night away under the patio lanterns, but no one as much as Jacqulyn and Tyler. We are so honored to have been part of their special day, and wish them nothing but the best as husband and wife!

Fairytale Wedding at Vista Valley Country Club

Luckily, this bride and groom decided to move forward with a wedding and stop putting their lives on hold as they want to start a family!

As with almost all of our weddings in 2021, this couple rescheduled their wedding multiples times. Lisa and Kyle were initially meant to be married in 2020 at Disneyland (how fun?!) but of course that had to be postponed due to COVID19. Then, once again, in 2021 they had to make the choice of either postponing again or changing venues as Disneyland had no set opening date. Luckily, the two decided to move forward with a wedding and stop putting their lives on hold as they want to start a family!

Lisa and Kyle are such a beautiful couple. These two met back in 2016 via an online dating app after a friend suggested Lisa join. “I went on it with no intention of meeting "the one" and I met Kyle! Two weeks later we went on our first date and the rest is history.” After a long search for a venue, they found the Vista Valley Country Club. The bride and groom instantly loved the rustic charm and privacy that you don't get at most Country Clubs. Created with historical significance, Vista Valley Country Club's ceremony site boasts 18th Century Gates and Columns imported from Provence, France, unique Antique Stone Windows reclaimed from the 1700 L'Orangerie in the South of France, and shade timbers ordered in the 1780s by George Washington!

The front doors of the club are amazing and very grand. As you walk in, Lisa has placed fresh flowers in every direction. Even the gorgeous chandeliers were filled with florals!

On the day of their wedding, Lisa and her bridesmaids got ready at the club. Lisa wore a breathtaking strapless lace wedding dress with a long train and veil. Before her wedding day, Lisa made a heart out of the blue dress she was wearing on their first date and attached it inside her dress! Once the wedding party and bride were ready, Lisa had a very special first look with her father, and you better believe he cried!

Romantic Wedding at Carondelet House in DTLA

The Carondelet House is an Italian-style villa built in the late 1920s with an urban flair.

Samantha and Kevin are such a romantic and playful couple. You can instantly tell that these two are truly best friends. When they reached out for wedding videography, we were super excited! Before we take on new wedding videography clients, we always send them a thorough list of questions so we can get to know them better and make sure we’re a perfect fit for their wedding day. When we asked Samantha and Kevin who they are as a couple and how they would be incorporating it into their wedding day, they said they wanted to emulate an intimate, romantic dinner party. “We want all of our best friends together to celebrate love, especially after this wild year!”

This lead this couple to chose Carondelet House because they loved how romantic and moody it was. The Carondelet House is an Italian-style villa built in the late 1920s with an urban flair. Full of exposed brick and old-world charm, the Carondelet House is one of the most unique venues in DTLA! Samantha and Kevin loved the old Hollywood vibe and different spaces within the space too. This venue has over 7500 sqft to work with, both indoor and outdoor.

On the morning of their wedding day, Samantha and her bridal party got ready together at The Westin Bonaventure in Downtown LA. The ladies had a relaxing morning having their hair and makeup done by Elwynn and Cass. When we arrived to start shooting the wedding video, everyone was looking absolutely gorgeous! Samantha was wearing a beautiful and unique wedding dress handmade in Australia by a family-run company called Made with Love Bridal. Samantha even had a heart sewn into her gown that was cut from her mom’s wedding dress.

A bride and groom kiss on their wedding day

Before the wedding ceremony, we like to give you the option of a video interview. Typically, we will interview the bride and groom separately before seeing each other or walking down the aisle. During these interviews, we ask questions about how you're feeling and what you're most excited about. During these interviews, we are able to capture your raw and authentic emotions. Samantha and Kevin opted for our wedding videography interview, and we can’t wait to share it with you! For a sneak peek of their wedding video, click here!

Our Feature on Southern California Bride

As seen on Southern California Bride. This styled elopements’ initial inspiration came when we took a look at the white cherry blossom trees that bloom every spring and it reminded us of fluffy white clouds! We pictured an elopement that looked as if it were suspended in the sky itself with a beautiful moon as the backdrop.

"This styled elopements’ initial inspiration came when we took a look at the white cherry blossom trees that bloom every spring and it reminded us of fluffy white clouds! We pictured an elopement that looked as if it were suspended in the sky itself with a beautiful moon as the backdrop. This unconventional combination of flowers mixed with astrology turned out to create such a romantic and ethereal look to the entire photoshoot. We wanted to create a magical atmosphere where the entire focus could be solely on our couple. We were very blessed with some of the most talented vendors participating in this elopement.

The Paper Moon Shoppe provided an absolutely amazing moon and clouds for the ceremony set up! Our florist created colorful and ethereal flower arrangements that fit perfectly for the entire feel of our shoot as well. Our Videographer Johnathan created a stunning yet tear-jerking video of this madly in love couple that we seriously can't stop watching over and over again. We had spot-on planning and coordination from Rayanne Rose Weddings and Jazzed Up Planning. Archive Rentals provided rentals for a perfect tablescape setup that only dreams are made of.

Gilded Swan Paperie provided invitations and vow books that had a beautiful star and moon embellishments all over them. The bride’s dress was rented from a rental company called Lael Collection. We saw the dress advertised online and immediately knew it would be the perfect fit for this elopement! Friars provided the powder blue and grey suite that complimented our entire color scheme perfectly. And I (Sam Rae Makeup + Photography) provided photography, makeup, and a little bit of hairstyling! I had a vision for the hair and makeup to be super soft and natural but also ethereal and magical. I picked out the hair accessories and earrings as well to add even more to her entire look.

Our beautiful couple was recently married and they are no strangers to elopements! During COVID 19 they decided to have a small backyard wedding with some of their closest relatives in an intimate way. This styled shoot was a really beautiful moment for them as it created some more happy memories and gave them an opportunity to celebrate once again!"
