Paulina and Darryl were one of the many couples we worked with in 2020 who opted for an elopement. The two had hoped to have their big dream wedding in 2021, but since they successfully pulled off the elopement, Paulina and Darryl decided it wasn’t necessary. They were married, and that’s all that matters!
On their wedding day, the two got ready in a beautiful Airbnb with an A-frame roof. After they finished getting ready, Paulina and Darryl did a first look on the patio. Darryl instantly broke down in tears when he saw his future wife in her beautiful wedding dress. After a twirl and some private words between the two of them, we headed over to their wedding venue at Skypark Weddings in Lake Arrowhead, CA.
Skypark Weddings is located in the forest surrounding the historic Santa’s Village Property which is now known as SkyPark. Serenely located in the San Bernardino National Forest, this venue brings together the best of Southern California! Who wouldn’t want to enjoy the ambiance of the forest and mountains while you say “I do,” and celebrate your marriage under a full blanket of stars?!
After Paulina and Darryl were married, we spent some quality time at the venue getting beautiful shots of the two of them as husband and wife. before heading back to their Airbnb to celebrate their marriage with their close relatives. When we arrived they had a local restaurant called BJ’s cater dinner. During this time, guests were able to come up and share some really wonderful things about the couple.
